Meet the Doctors
Dr. David MacKenzie
Dr. David MacKenzie is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. He has practiced in Coquitlam since 1973.
Dr. MacKenzie has a special interest in wellness care for families, but also has a large number of patients he cares for who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents. Many of these patients have been referred to him by the patient’s general practitioner or lawyer. Driven by the referral of happy, satisfied and successful patient cases, MacKenzie Chiropractic has cared for over 25,000 patients since 1973.
Dr. MacKenzie is a past board member of the B.C. Chiropractic Association and a past President of the B.C. Chiropractic Roentgenological Society. His post graduate studies have taken him to many cities in North America. He has been a speaker at a number of B.C. Chiropractic Association Annual Conventions.
Dr. MacKenzie feels it is important that patients understand their condition and how Chiropractic can benefit the patient. For this reason, he actively participates in regular educational workshops at the clinic. MacKenzie Chiropractic attempts to merge the best of traditional chiropractic while integrating new technological advances in caring for patients.

Dr. Hoskin
Dr. Hoskin graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1979, with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Kinesiology. She then attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto for four years, obtaining her doctorate in Chiropractic.
She has practiced at Mackenzie Chiropractic for 20 years, treating thousands of patients of all ages and activity levels. She tailors her treatment to suit individual needs and has a special interest in nutrition. She has played many sports in the past and likes to keep fit running, cycling and weight training. |
Dr. Scott MacKenzie
Dr. Scott MacKenzie is a graduate of Palmer West College of Chiropractic. Prior to chiropractic college, he attended the Science faculty at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He has received his Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. MacKenzie is a second generation chiropractor. While at Palmer West he assisted in instructing Gonstead technique, and was an officer of the Gonstead Study Society. Dr. MacKenzie has competed in athletics at a high level, touring Europe with the St. George’s School Rugby team, and also competing in B.C. provincial golf competitions. He brings a special perspective to care for athletes, but also has a special interest in wellness care for families.
Dr. MacKenzie’s primary techniques are Gonstead and Thompson Drop. Dr. MacKenzie is excited at the opportunity to educate new chiropractic patients, as well as provide care for existing chiropractic patients. Dr. MacKenzie enjoys working with families and their friends. Dr. MacKenzie treats patients of all ages.

Debbie Clarke is Director of Clinic Operations, and as such is responsible for overseeing all of the day to day operations of the office. Debbie is also involved in the initial of integrating new patients. Debbie has traveled to San Francisco, Anaheim, Seattle and Phoenix in her Chiropractic Office Assistant training. Debbie has been with MacKenzie Chiropractic for 16 years. |
